Give voice to endangered orcas this holiday season

An enduring love of orcas led Dyna to become an Ecojustice lawyer. She was reminded of her younger self when seven-year-old Oliver and his brother Ben of Burnaby, B.C., sent the Ecojustice team drawings in support of bold government action to protect the endangered Southern Resident killer whales.

The Southern Residents, of which only 74 remain, are in a precarious situation. We must act now to protect them.

Donate today to help Ecojustice use the law to protect orcas from threats to their immediate and long-term survival.

Dyna's holiday wish

“My holiday wish is for 2019 to be the year the federal government takes meaningful action to ensure the Southern Resident killer whales survive and recover. With you — and the law — on Ecojustice’s side, I’m hopeful we can secure a better future for the Southern Residents.”

Help make this wish a reality

For more than a decade, Ecojustice has worked hand-in-hand with supporters like you to protect the Southern Resident killer whales. Together, we’ve launched and won multiple lawsuits, giving voice to these iconic animals.

Your gift this holiday season will help us ensure the federal government lives up to its promise to identify new areas of critical habitat, take steps to reduce underwater noise, and regulate potentially harmful chemicals — before the whales return to the Salish Sea in the spring of 2019.

Donate today to secure a better future for the Southern Residents.

This holiday season, give the gift of a brighter environmental future. Please donate today.
