This holiday season, help Ecojustice use the law to reduce the use of dangerous pesticides.

Dr. Elaine MacDonald, an environmental engineer and Ecojustice’s healthy communities program director, cares deeply about protecting people and the environment from harmful pesticides.

Thanks to supporters like you, Elaine combines her scientific expertise with Ecojustice’s legal muscle every day. These powerful tools came together in our lawsuit to protect pollinators from neonicotinoid pesticides, which was heard in November.

As we await the court’s decision on that matter, we’re petitioning Health Canada to re-consider its approval of glyphosate, the most widely-used pesticide in the world and a probable human carcinogen. Can we count on your support?

Elaine's holiday wish

“Like many Ecojustice supporters, I was deeply moved by the father from California who took the chemical giant Monsanto to court — and won. His courage inspires my holiday wish that Health Canada acts in the public interest when it comes to regulating harmful pesticides like glyphosate.”

Help make this wish a reality.

The impact pesticides have on the environment is far-reaching. They make it into the air, water, and land that we all depend on. Sometimes they are so persistent they permeate the arctic poles — Antarctic penguins still show signs of the pesticide DDT, even though the substance was banned in the 1970s.

Please, make a gift today and help Ecojustice use the law to protect the people and places you love from harmful pesticides.

This holiday season, give the gift of a brighter environmental future. Please donate today.
