I wish to add my name in support of the applicants’ submission that the Mathur et al. case is in the public interest.

I am familiar with the case and believe that it is being brought in the public interest.

I support the position advanced by the applicants that the conduct of the Government of Ontario in relation to climate change has violated the rights of Ontarians under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

I think it is important the Ontario Superior Court determine whether the conduct of the Government of Ontario in relation to climate change has violated the Charter of Rights and Freedoms of Ontarians.

I support the position of the applicants who believe that this case is an important way to determine whether the Government’s conduct has violated the Charter.

 

I acknowledge and consent to the personal information I provide to Ecojustice below (name and post code) be collected with the intention that it be filed with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and that once it is filed it will be placed on the public record in the case of Mathur et. al. v. Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario.
